COMMISSIONS  1999/2000

A new Concerto featuring Terry Riley as piano soloist with the Paul Dresher Ensemble to be completed by summer of 2000.

A work for the Indo/British ensemble Sounds Bazaar to be premiered at the Norwich festival in October of 1999 and written for the Composer on voice and keyboards and the Italian Drupad Singer Amelia Cuni with Francis Silkstone, Violin and Surbuhar and Tatty Theo, Baroque Cello.

The Sun Ring for Piano in Just Intonation, commissioned by the Kanagawa Arts Festival in Yokohama, Japan, to be premiered there on December 6th, 1999 by the composer.

Mandala Miniatures for Saxophone Quartet, commissioned by Susan Fancher and the ASQ for a premiere in March 2000.

A new Suite for solo Cello for Cellist Jean Jeanrenaud commissioned by Other Music through the support of Artist Bruce Conner, to be completed in Autumn of 2000.

From NASA a new commission to write a string quartet for KRONOS  incorporating sounds of the planets recorded by the Voyager mission on it's journey to deep space........... to be ready in 2001.

A new Saxophone Quartet commissioned by  the Europaischer Musicmonat 2001 for the Arte Saxophone Quartet to be premiered at

ART 2001, an art fair in Basel on June 16, 2001.

Music for the Michael McClure Play, JOSEPHINE THE MOUSE SINGER  commissioned by the California College of Arts and Crafts.  Performances are scheduled for February 2001 at the SorMar Theater in San Francisco.

Sun Rings for String Quartet, Mixed Chorus and sounds recorded in space by Nasa.
Commissioned by Nasa, University of Iowa and San Francisco Jazz Festival

COMMISSIONS 2002-2003

A new work for 8 cellos (and Narrator or singer) to be scored for Cello Octet Conjunto Ibérico directed by Elias Elizcuren.  This is a request of a work with a spriritual nature.   Being considered at the moment is a piece based on the teachings of St. Thomas as they exist in Kerala, India  and have existed the last 2000 years since St. Thomas traveled to Kerala and established a pre-western version of Christianity.
